Reiki is a complementary energy healing practice that helps to move and balance your body's natural energy. Through light, non-invasive touch or hands-hovering over the body, the practice helps to release emotional blocks, reduce stress, and restore a sense of balance and resilience.
Our time together is a blend of a talk-based modality and Reiki. The format is flexible, as we can either converse first and then transition into the energy work, or we can talk while you're receiving the Reiki. You'll be seated in a comfortable reclining chair that you can adjust your liking. While receiving Reiki, you may experience sensations such as warming or cooling, light pressure, or seeing different colors. Regardless of sensations, most people report feeling lighter and clearer at the end of the session. Most importantly, please know that if you feel uncomfortable at any point, you have the right to speak up and let us know so that we can adjust what we're doing.Â
A talk-based modality is simply a guided conversation. In our sessions, it's a safe space where you can share your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. We'll talk through the challenges you're facing and explore the root causes of the patterns that are holding you back. This process is all about gaining clarity and building a deeper understanding of yourself.
While traditional counseling often focuses on psychological diagnosis and treatment, my services take a more holistic approach. We combine the benefits of talk-based exploration with the energy work of Reiki. This means we're not just addressing your mind; we're also working with your body and spirit to promote a more complete, integrated sense of well-being. It's about healing at multiple levels, not just treating symptoms. Â
The frequency of sessions truly depends on your individual needs and goals. In our first session together, we'll discuss your unique situation and what you hope to achieve. From there, we can collaborate on a plan that will best support you in breaking old patterns and creating lasting change.Â
Yes, I tailor my apporach to meet the specific needs of younger clients, often incorporating creative or interactive elements that help one feel comfortable in expressing themselves. For all children ages 13-years and younger, a parent or guardian must be present for the duration of the session.Â
The Sacred Journeys are for those in recovery from addiction who are seeking a spiritual path that isn't rooted in traditional, Abrahamic language. It's an opportunity to find support from like-minded people, share your experiences, and discover a sense of community. This group is an invitation to heal in a way that honors your unique path.
I ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your session. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, as well as no-shows, will be charged the full session fee.
I do not accept insurance at this time.
The first step is a free, 15-minute phone consultation with me. This is a low-pressure conversation where you can share what's on your mind and ask any questions you have. It’s an opportunity for us to connect and make sure my services are the right fit for you.Â
